What’s the fuss about transfers ?

When I get asked “Did you paint all this yourself? I say if it were totally hand painted, I would finish one piece every six months and that would be reflected in the price. It wouldn’t be affordable. I believe that art should be made available for everyone not just be in a museum.

Is it a Sticker? - No, Stickers are printed on adhesive backed paper which sits on the surface and is not only visible but easily damaged!

Decals are the same, except they are printed on a clear carrier material instead of paper.

An artist quality transfer, is a proprietary process that allows only an ink image to be transferred to a surface or substrate. Then the ink is sealed with layers of clear coat or wax/oil and is not longer distinguisable from the substrate or surface.

Furniture transfers, once sealed becomes a part of the furniture and is fairly permanent. Like purchasing a limited edition print from a well-known artist instead of the original .

So it’s a win win! Beautiful art at a lower price..
