How long does a custom commission take?

The custom commission journey is a process that starts with your FREE DISCOVERY CALL, where I hear your ideas and preferences and start looking for ideal vintage furniture. Once that’s done, we start creating your bespoke creation. The process would take about two to three weeks, and during that time, I will update you with pictures and videos. When the unit is finished, I collect the remaining payment and shipping fee. After several days you’re unique piece will be delivered to your front door!

What is the required deposit, and when is it taken?

After your initial FREE DISCOVERY CALL, a 50% Deposit will be taken to reserve your place in my order book. For ready-completed items, I take full payment prior to delivery.

How long does delivery take once a piece is created?

I offer a one-man door-to-door delivery service. Please contact me with your postcode before you place your order for an accurate quote. You’re restyled piece will be delivered to your front door at pavement level by a fully insured professional furniture courier. in most cases, my courier will be travelling alone, so please be aware that for heavy items, your driver may need some help on delivery day. My courier will contact you directly with dates and times that are suitable for you.

What areas do you cover?

I cover the North East of England (Gateshead, Newcastle, Morpeth, Northumberland, Carlisle)

Will my furniture have a smooth factory finish?

The pieces that I work with have their own character and beautiful bones, together with details that I have chosen to bring into the now. They are either vintage or have had a good life and may have age-related imperfections, which only add to the character of the piece. These will not detract from the style or usability of the piece; rather, they add to its uniqueness. They are hand-painted with love, so they are not factory finishes.
