This MCM chest of drawers was a perfect match for this decoupage…it has been hand painted , embellished, gilded and with the original hardware. The top has been hand painted and gilded too..and the sides of the drawers decoupaged in a whimsical style that complements the piece..

FURNITURE CARE:

A lot of work and thought has gone into bringing out the beauty of each individual item. I use high quality VOC free paint that has been sealed with a flat clear coat for protection.

A freshly painted piece of furniture can take up to 28 days to fully harden and cure. I advise taking additional care during this time and recommend using placemats and or coasters on the surfaces.

MY PIECES ARE VINTAGE OR ANTIQUE AND THEY HAVE HAD A GOOD LIFE AND MAY HAVE AGE RELATED IMPERFECTIONS WHICH ONLY ADD TO THE CHARACTER OF THE  PIECE.  THESE WILL NOT DETRACT FROM THE STYLE OR USABILITY OF THE PIECE RATHER THEY ADD TO ITS UNIQUENESS.

THE PIECES I HAVE CHOSEN TO WORK WITH HAVE THEIR OWN CHARACTER AND BEAUTIFUL BONES AND DETAILS AND I HAVE CHOSEN TO BRING THEM INTO THE NOW HAND PAINTED WITH LOVE AND THEREFORE NOT A FACTORY FINISH.
